Two more Harris Academies judged to be 'Outstanding' by Ofsted
Eight Harris Academies now judged as Outstanding by Ofsted – an unmatched record.
Harris Boys’ Academy East Dulwich and Harris Academy Purley, both of which opened in September 2009, have been rated by Ofsted as “Outstanding”.
The two Academies were inspected in December 2011. They are the seventh and eighth Harris Academies to achieve Outstanding status, out of 11 that have so far been inspected.
Commenting on the reports, Dr Dan Moynihan, Chief Executive of the Harris Federation said:
“To achieve Outstanding Ofsted status only two years after opening is a superb achievement. I would like to extend my thanks and congratulations to the students, staff and leadership teams of Harris Boys’ Academy East Dulwich and Harris Academy Purley."
