All Harris Academies open for longer than a year now Good or Outstanding!

Congratulations to the students, staff and Governors of Harris Girls’ Academy East Dulwich who have been awarded the highest possible Ofsted rating of “Outstanding”.  

It is one of only a handful of schools in the country to be rated as Outstanding in all the categories looked at by Ofsted under their new inspection regime.

The Academy was the most improved school in Southwark last year, having increased the proportion of students gaining 5 good GCSEs including maths and English by 18 percentage points from 49% to 67%.

Of the first wave of nine Harris Academies open for longer than a year, eight are now rated by Ofsted as “Outstanding” and the ninth as “Good”.   Click here to learn more about our track record.
