Wrap Around Care

The school will provide ‘wrap around care’ (through a partnership with an external provider) for all pupils should their parents/carers require it. This will take the form of a ‘Breakfast Club‘, ‘After School Club’ and ‘’Holiday Club’ and will be run as follows:

Morning: 8.00am – 8.55am: Breakfast Club

Holiday Club: 8.00am – 6.00pm

Afternoon: 3.30pm – 6.30pm: After School Club

Cost: Breakfast Club - £7.50 per week
          After School Club - £35 per week (£2.33 per hour)
          Holiday Club - £100 per week

Age Group: 4-11

Activities

Themed fortnightly activity based largely on children’s interest and carousel of activities in set time slots. These may include:

• Homework club
• Drama
• Dance
• Music
• A range of indoor/outdoor sporting activities
• Outing in and around the local area based on interest/week’s focus

 

Unique Selling Points

• Staffed by at least one trained Primary Education Practitioner/relevant childcare qualification to degree level with additional staff holding a recognised and relevant Level2/3 in childcare/play work.
• Longer opening hours.
• Off-site activities.
• Children will have own record of achievement/portfolio
• Managing Director who is experienced in Early Years and Primary with QTS and over 5 year’s experience of organising and running out of school/extended school sessions for up to 70 children and supervision of 35 volunteers during the Summer holidays and Saturdays.

Monday: 3.30pm – 5.00pm

Drama, Homework/Catchup, Computer, Movie Mondays

Tuesday: 3.30pm – 5.00pm

Sports, spelling Club, Drumming, Science Club

Wednesday: 3.30pm – 5.00pm

Spanish Club, Art, Football

Thursday: 3.30pm – 5.00pm

ECO/Space Club, Drumming, Computer

Friday: 3.30pm – 5.00pm

Caribbean Dance, Maths Club, Homework/Catch Up

Outings would include: Cinema, Bowling, Farm, Parks, Science Museum, Environmental Centre, Adventure Centre, Horniman’s Museum.
