Harris Academy St John's Wood approach to driving participation of girls in computing and technology featured in the Guardian

Two teachers from Harris Academy St John’s Wood – Elizabeth English and Amelia Bryant - spoke to the Guardian about how they have been encouraging more girls to take up computing and technology subjects.
As well as dismantling preconceptions about these subjects, the academy has put in place a number of initiatives to boost the number of girls studying technology including a robotics club (which has a 50:50 split between boys and girls), regular taster and engagement sessions and visits from top employers.
