Really proud of Yr10 who have been studying forces & stresses. They've built geodesic domes using cocktail sticks & jelly sweets, then constructed their own shapes to show how triangles are used in design due to their strength, which hold the weight of several bricks! https://t.co/A8061DumDQ

This is very exciting (for me, at least). I've assembled a book following the adventures of Harris Westminster over the last few years and Crown House are going to publish it. I like the way it looks (& give open permission to have it judged by its cover) https://t.co/luoORNckD4

Do you know what happened to Humpty Dumpty? Nursery children were shocked to discover the crime scene. They have been busy investigating footprints, asking questions and looking for clues! If you have any information please contact ! There is a reward waiting... https://t.co/p1VK8sZlUR

Academy Description

Harris Girls' Academy East Dulwich is an 11-18 school for 1000 girls which opened as an Academy in September 2006. The Academy benefits from a recent £20million investment in new facilities and equipment.

Harris Girls' offers a wide ranging and rigorous curriculum with specialisms in Enterprise and Sport with Health Sciences. The Academy has been recently judged by Ofsted to be 'Outstanding'. The Academy offers a co-educational Post 16 with Harris Boys', together comprising capacity for 400 Sixth Formers.

Academy Ethos

Our motto is ‘Aspire, Learn, Succeed’. We want our students to be aspirational; we want them to think about what they want to do with their lives, to explore the world and think about where they fit into it, what they can get from it, and what they can offer as well.

We therefore try to give students as many different experiences and opportunities as we can – to broaden their horizons so that they begin to really understand and engage with different cultures, ideas and countries.
