Fantastic science results across the Harris Federation – of students taking triple science, 62% got Grade 7+ in Biology and 65% in Physics and Chemistry


Thanks to , 115 students got a GCSE in Mandarin yesterday – with well over half getting a Grade 7 or higher!


Well done to every Harris student who got GCSE results yesterday – you got 1,245 ‘super’ Grade 9s between you - a truly amazing achievement! Thank you to all students, staff and parents.


34% of our students achieved the Ebacc yesterday – significantly higher than last year’s national average, which was 24%. Well done and thank you to all staff and students.

Harris Federation Sports Day 2011

Over 500 competitors took part in this year's Sports Day on 6th July, the biggest competition to date.  The competition was closely fought with all Academies vying to win the prestigious title of Winning Girls’ and Winning Boys’ team.  For a second year running, Crystal Palace proved that they are the team to beat, winning both the Boys’ and the Girls’ competitions.  In the case of the Girls’ competition, Crystal Palace won with only a margin of 4 points beating Harris Girls’ Academy, East Dulwich by 240 points to 236 points.  The Crystal Palace Boys’ steamed ahead and beat runners up, South Norwood 242 to 194. 

The day also saw some outstanding individual performances.  An amazing 25 Federation records were broken, highlighting the athletic talent throughout our Federation.
