In January, we launched our new alumni mentoring scheme. Alumni are sharing their expertise to empower and guide our current students!
Vincent and Usama visited Harris Academy Sutton, marking the launch of our alumni mentoring program. They shared their valuable expertise and advice with our current sixth formers, leaving them feeling inspired and motivated. Future sessions will be held online, making this a flexible and relatively time-light commitment. Following the launch, we have now successfully paired numerous mentors with appreciative mentees across our academies.

Engaging with alumni mentors helps students to explore diverse job roles and sectors, all while finding inspiration in relatable role models who mirror their own potential. Mentors play a crucial role in bridging the gap between education and the workplace. They convey the reality that this journey isn't always a linear path, and that's perfectly okay – it doesn't have to be to achieve desired outcomes. The reassurance and encouragement mentors provide directly contribute to heightened self-belief among our students, empowering them to realise their ambitions.
