Harris Futures Tech Event
This month, we hosted our first-ever Tech Event in partnership with leading tech recruitment firm Spinks. We were joined by former Harris students from across our 55 academies- all eager to learn more about the ever-evolving tech space.
We were fortunate to be joined by three fantastic panellists: Liam Richmond, Senior Integration Architect at Amazon; Banwo Idowu, Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer at Go City; and Eoin O’Connell, CIO at The Nurture Group. They shared their personal journeys into the tech world- offering practical and honest advice on how to get started, stand out, and succeed in the industry.
Tyler Nash, a former student at Harris Westminster Sixth Form, played a key role in planning and co-hosting this event. It’s brilliant to see alumni getting involved in making these events happen- we’re really grateful for the support- it makes a big difference to the work we do at Harris Futures.
