House of Lords, 5th March 2026: Event wrap-up

“The event was splendid and I was able to observe a whole range of people - all of which I would have not spoken to usually whether due to age range or subject area. It was a nice mix of alumni from a range of sixth forms.” Harris alumni event attendee.

This event was designed to be a celebration of how far the Harris Futures alumni network has come in the two and a half years since it’s inception. As ever, the energy from our alumni meant that the event was a shining example of what happens when we all come together to connect, reflect and grow together. We were joined by 150 guests from across our 55 academies.

This event wouldn’t have been possible without the generous sponsorship of Sir Ralph Waller who kicked off our speeches. We also heard from Sir Dan and Lord Harris and were reminded of the Harris mission and impact. Kailan Hanson, former Harris Chobham alumni took to the stage to share his journey of self-discovery and realising his dream of studying at Cambridge, in part thanks to the support of his Harris teachers. The room was then left to buzz with chatter and laughter as people caught up with old friends and built new connections, it was notable to see how many new faces were in the room and we are thrilled about how much the network has grown.

If you’re a former Harris student and would like to be the first to hear about what’s coming up, please make sure your Harris Futures profile is up to date.

“It was very well organised and well put together. Location was amazing and so was the energy!” Harris alumni event attendee.
