Harris Science Academy East London Students feature on BBC Radio 4 alongside Nobel Prize winning scientist

On New Years Day, four budding biologists from Harris Science Academy East London appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme.

They were recorded during a visit to the Francis Crick Institute’s research labs where they spoke with Nobel Prize winning geneticist and Chief Executive Officer of the Francis Crick Institute, Sir Paul Nurse, about their hopes for scientific developments in the coming year and beyond.

From the rise of nanotechnology to better cures for cancer, Sir Paul and the students discussed the hope that exists in a range of fields of scientific research.
