Trio of Harris schools amongst the reasons why Crystal Palace has been named the best place to live in London

A ‘trio of outstanding Harris academies’ (Harris City Academy Crystal Palace, Harris Academy South Norwood and Harris Girls’ Academy Bromley) are among the reasons why Crystal Palace has been judged as the best place to live in London by the Sunday Times.

We agree that Crystal Palace is a fantastic place and are proud of the transformative impact these three schools have had upon their local communities and the children they serve.

Last year Harris City Academy Crystal Palace celebrated its 30th birthday. As one of the first independent state schools in England and the first in our Federation, it set the bar for the standards we expect for our schools and the high expectations we have for each of our students.

In this interview, Sir Dan Moynihan, Harris Senior Executive Principal & CEO and former Principal of Harris Academy Crystal Palace, speaks about how Harris transformed a previously failing school into the outstanding and oversubscribed academy it is today:
